Dr. Sheytophia “Shey” Cunha is licensed by the state of Florida to practice as an independent School Psychologist.  Her passion is working with families to ensure their children reach their highest learning potential! She began her career in education as an Exceptional Student Education preschool teacher  in South Florida in 2008.  

Dr. Shey Cunha practices as a School Psychologist for grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade in the public school system. Dr. Shey provides comprehensive evaluations, and when necessary, educational diagnosis for learning difficulties/disabilities, social-emotional concerns, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,  Autism Spectrum Disorder and Gifted. Vocational evaluations for transition services are available for individuals up to age 21.

Dr. Shey Cunha is an Associate Online Faculty member for the College of Education at Ashford University where she has teaches assessment, evaluation and learning design of students with disabilities classes to future educators.

Dr. Shey Cunha began her higher education journey graduating from Judson University in Elgin, Illinois with a B.A. degree in Psychology. She trained to be a Specialist in School Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida and earned her Doctor of Psychology in School Psychology degree from Argosy University in Sarasota, FL.

Dr. Shey is a member of the Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
